The first breakfast meet of the year!
20.02.2022Great to see so many of our members out and...
Just a quick note to say thank you to all who were involved in yesterdays East Coast Mini Club - Easter Charity Run 2016. From our club sponsors, marshalls and committee members through to all the participants who brought their amazing minis along to our huge event.
We are currently counting and collating everything from the big day and will publish something officially when we are happy it's ready to post in the coming days.
Hope you all had an amazing day, I know we did!
Keep posting and sharing pictures and tell us your experience.

It was an amazing day despite the weather trying to dampen (literally) our spirits. Thank-you for organizing this fun event, we’ll definitely be going next year…I hope.
Curious how many Minis we had on the day, is there an official count?

Enjoyed the day from the moment we arrived at Bury, seeing all the different mini’s, a healthy turn out hey. The drive itself was fun all the way, taking in roads n villages i’ve not been through and i used to be a delivery driver years ago. Glad the weather was ok on the whole. Definitely do it next year and hopefully in my classic mini! Once again thank you to the club for a excellent job

Thanks for such a well organised run 🙂 Really good route and the kids enjoyed ‘navigating’ especially when we found ourselves at the front to the convoy sometimes!
My one and only criticism is of the number of BMW’s there were and how I seemed to find myself stuck in the middle of them all the time (plus there was some really irresponsible driving from a couple of them at times, nearly caused an accident at one point!). Personal preference of course, but when I’m on a Mini Run and I’ve got a half dozen MINI’s in front and behind, I might as well just be sitting in normal traffic. I’d have preferred it if the MINI’s went off in a separate convoy to the Classics and we all met up again at the finish.
All in all though, a thoroughly enjoyable day out one to put down on next years calender 🙂
Thanks for all the hard work 🙂
